Indigenous values permeate every aspect of our publishing practice. We are open to receiving fiction and non-fiction manuscripts, art portfolios, and book ideas for child and youth audiences.

Writers

Writers wanted from all walks of life, with unique experiences, perspectives, and talent, to submit their children’s book manuscript, with or without illustrations in a Word document or PDF to info@wavemakerpress.com.

Please include a brief biography in the email body or a separate document. All submissions will receive a response within 6 weeks.

Artists

We are currently seeking artists across various mediums to build a talent pool for book illustration and other print projects. To submit your work for consideration, kindly send a portfolio link to info@wavemakerpress.com.

Storytellers

Do you have a great idea for a children’s book? Have you been looking for a printed product that no one seems to make? Pitch us your idea! Please submit ideas in an email to info@wavemakerpress.com.

We’re especially looking for Indigenous stories for all ages, stories with a social justice focus, and fictional books for any age by Indigenous writers or story tellers.
